Musical Movies
Shout Out Productions have created this fantastic Covid-19 safe Summer School for those who have a passion for performing arts and or filmmaking!
Youngsters will get the chance to do acting and dancing and for those not so keen on being centre stage you can enjoy being part of the brilliant film crew who will help boost your confidence and improve your filmmaking skills.
You'll learn how to record your own voice which we'll then blend into the mix.
By the end of the week we will have learnt and shot a Musical Movie Mash-up! which you can watch 2 weeks later on a private link, and on the Big screen at next years Film Festival.

Taught by Professionals from the Industry, Including:
Doug - Principal - Producer/Direcor
Award winning Director of Stage and Screen, Doug has films on On Demand networks including Amazon Prime Video. He has filmed or been filmed in small Independent films to Global Block Busters.
He runs PQA Reading and has previously taught at Swindon College & guest lectured at New College.
Doug has worked as a Background Artist dancing and acting on ABC(America) Musical Comedy Series Galavant.
Jenna - Choreographer - Musical Theatre Director
Jenna started her career at the age of 7 starring as 'Etty' in the film 'Charles Darwin' for US Boston Productions before playing the role of 'Young Princess Margaret' in ITV's 'Bertie and Elizabeth’.
Jenna trained professionally in Musical Theatre at Performers College. Since graduating she has worked as a Dancer, Singer and Dance Captain and has travelled to Paris, China, Poland, Romania, Dubai, Malaysia and Bahrain. Jenna spent two years touring in theatres and arenas across the UK as part of CHANNEL 5’ 'Milkshake Live! The Magic story book.'
She has most recently been onboard the MS Boudicca cruise ship as a dancer/singer as part of the show company. Jenna loves working as a teacher and seeing the students grow in confidence and as performers whilst having fun!


Mirek - Film Teacher -Reading
Mirek is a Graduate of the University of South Hampton, studying Film and History. He has worked on numerous student and Indie films and for Czech Television and Wessex Films. Whilst at University regularly contributing to the Film Society and Theatre and Comedy Societies as well as writing reviews for the Edge an entertainment publication. Mirek is now writing his next screenplay.
